Short Bio
Hello Falcon community, my name is Marlen Serrano. I attended California State University
Northridge where I obtained my undergraduate degree. I will be attending San Jose State
University this fall to pursue a graduate degree. I was born and raised in South Los Angeles. I
became an instructional aide because I believe it’s important to give back to your community. It
is essential for our children to have teachers and instructional staff that believe in them and their
ability to reach their full potential socially and academically.
This year I will be working with the 6th grade students, I am honored to be a resource for them
this year. Our goal is for your students to feel safe and comfortable at our school. We are all
committed to help your students excel in their educational endeavors.
Hola comunidad Falconiana, me llamo Marlen Serrano. Asistí a la Universidad Estatal de
California Northridge donde obtuve mi título universitario. Asistiré a la Universidad Estatal de
San José este otoño para obtener un título de posgrado. Nací y crecí en el sur de Los Ángeles.
Me convertí en asistente de instrucción porque creo que es importante retribuir a su comunidad.
Es esencial que nuestros niños tengan maestros y personal de instrucción que crean en ellos y
en su capacidad para alcanzar su máximo potencial social y académico.
Este año estaré trabajando con los estudiantes de 6to grado, tengo el honor de ser un recurso
para ellos este año. Nuestro objetivo es que sus estudiantes se sientan seguros y cómodos en
nuestra escuela. Todos estamos comprometidos a ayudar a sus estudiantes a sobresalir en sus
esfuerzos educativos.
